Posts: 1237 Location: South Portsmouth, KY | I believe that this has been asked before but i cant find where. Does anyone know when the 13 inch Curly Sues will be available in formula x and how much these things will weigh? Thanks! Edited by muskie_man 3/4/2007 9:01 AM | ||

| According to Andy from Shack Attack the 13" suzy sucker MIGHT be available in fx later this fall... I'm assuming the same goes for the curly sue. | |||

| Thanks for the interest in the 13” Curly Sue. I have been concentrating on the 11” Suzy Sucker and Curly Sue as this will be a very popular size. The 11” bait looks really good and is a little bit smaller than the 13” bait, but the main advantage is it weighs a lot less. I planned on getting the 13” bait ready for late summer in Formula-X, but now I have seen the 11” bait I am not sure if I should make the 13” bait from Formula-X. I have to make new molds for Formula-X baits and the 13” mold is a lot of money and to be honest money is a little tight right now. So I was thinking that perhaps I should see what everyone thinks of the 11” version first and continue to make the 13” baits from regular plastic. I will have some samples of the 11” baits at the Blain show, so if people could stop by and see me (it’s not hard to find and English guy in a white Shack Attack shirt) and let me know what they think of the 11” bait. If after seeing the 11” bait and people still want the 13” version then I am sure I will make it from Formula-X, just don’t tell my wife that I need to spend more money on molds. Andy | |||

| I should have the first bunch of baits out in about 6 weeks. I was working on some new colors for the 11” bait and I think I have a good mixture of colors. If anybody has any colors they would like to see and would be viable on a commercial basis please let me know. I will be looking to increase the colors in the whole range over the next 6 months. I would rather ask you guys what you would like to have as you are the customers. | |||

| Andy, just make a shallow version of the 11" suzy sucker and I'll be your best friend forever! | |||

| Thats in the pipe-line, should have a shallow/suspending 11" in the next couple of months. Andy | |||
