Hey everyone, just under two weeks until we're headed down to Kentucky for spring break to find some muskies.  I'm just wondering if the only map available for Cave Run is the Hot Spots one or if there are others that would be worth getting a hold of.
Anyone that has any idea about this please let me know.  Thanks guys.
Also looking for a used map from somebody that may no longer have a use for it (will pay for it).

Here's another option. I know nothing about the quality of these maps nor the quality of the service by the company, just found them thru Google for ya. m

I live near the Cave and to my knowledge that's (Hotspots) the map.

This early in the season, fish the creeks and go all of the way back: Caney Creek, Beaver Creek, Buck Creek, and of course (if you can find any room to squeeze in among all of the others) ... Scott's Creek.

Catch some fatties.

Thanks guys, I can't wait to get down there!!! Only six more days and we're on our way!!!
Craig, thanks for giving me some places to start; I'm still waiting for my map of the lake in the mail. Have you gotten out at all yet this year? Looks like it's warmed up pretty good down there.
Thanks again, Jake

Jake,
I was out for a few hours yesterday afternoon. The air temps were in the low 50's, but the water was still hovering around 40 degrees. Fished Caney and Scott's Creek using rattletraps, Hawg Teasers, and Super Shad Raps. Did not see or raise any fish ... but they are surely there.

These days seem to get windier as the day progresses. Try getting out by 10AM so you can fish without having to compensate for those spring winds.

I think the upcoming days of 60 degrees or better will really get things stirring within the next week or so.
