| Has anyone seen this new Alien jerk bait by American hardwood lures (AHL). It looks very interesting. I have only seen this video. And was just wondering what everyone thoughts on it was. Seem to catch some big fish. I noticed at the Minnesota show last year they were busy. I wanted to get some more info on their baits before this years show. They all looked great and were of high quality. The sound of the baits seemed awesome fro the short video they were showing. Thanks Dan of Minnesota | |||

Posts: 194 | I have one of these baits. I got it last fall right before my second daughter was born, so it got one afternoon's use before my season ended. As you can see in the video, it runs on the slow side. It has a slow fall and rises on the jerk. Phil designed the bait to hook muskies that go after the tails. Ever had a fish bite of the tail on a Dawg? If a fish goes after just a tail on this bait, it's gonna run into the skinny section of wood and an Eagle Claw 774. I plan to use mine on those slow, sunny, let the bait hang in the fishes face kind of days over the tops of weeds. | ||
