Subject: URGENT! WI MUSKY ANGLERS!

The spring Conservation Congress meetings are coming up quickly. They will be held in each county of WI, on Monday, April 8th, 2002, at 7:00 p.m.

To see the resolutions up for voting, go to
www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/nrboard/springhearings/fish/

There will be some very important issues coming up for musky anglers. There will be a statewide vote on a 50" limit for Green Bay. On the local level, there will be a resolution for a 50" limit on Clear Lake in Oneida county, a resolution for a 40" limit on Moose Lake in Sawyer county, and a resolution for a 45" limit on the Chip in Sawyer county.

Many times the meetings run late. I'm sure they will this year, as there are a LOT of resolutions about deer hunting. If a resolution is brought up and there is no interest, it may not be voted on, in the interest of saving time.

I'm certain that the higher limits for these lakes will be voted on in Sawyer and Oneida counties (the 50" limit for Green Bay is a statewide issue and will be voted on in all counties). We need to be sure that these resolutions will be voted on in all the counties of WI.

Please go to the spring meetings and make sure these size limit resolutions are voted on! This is the time to do more than talk about musky fishing. I'm asking all Wisconsin musky anglers to help pass these resolutions, and improve the future of musky fishing in Wisconsin.

Thanks, Dave Dorazio

I will be there with all my brothers and brother inlaw. Please help other sportsman by voteing for our freedoms. This is a time for sportsman to unite.
There is animal activists out in force at these meetings, its there chance to get what they want. We need to unite with the hunters, trappers and other fishermen to help slow them down. Please attend your meetings, bring your friends and voice your concerns.

Dave,

I'll be there for sure...do what I can to help you guys out. I know how hard you guys have worked for this in your area and the struggle with resort support.

Been trying to get some support for same issues in our local areas and having a hard time getting others on the band wagon...this is as good of a place as any to start the ball rolling.

Thanks,

Anglers in Portage, Wood, Adams, and Juneau also need to show up!!! I have a resolution, and have gotten full support from our local fisheries and musky anglers to raise the size limit on the WI river from the Stevens Point Flowage down through and including Petenwell, and Castle rock flowage. Please come out and vote guys, we can really improve our local fishery in central WI with your help. Every vote counts, so please tell all of your friends to show up. I'll buy you all a beer at Sals if we get this thing through!!!!!!

Dave,
I'll be there with bells on!

I gotta believe that some folks down state are going to start to get the drift with the amount of resolutions starting to come forward and the lopsidedness of most of the voting.

Musky anglers: This is where changes are made, go put your vote where your mouth is! [;)]

The more muskie anglers show up...the more the state will know that we are not in the 10% society.

Many of the regs that are dropped are because the other 90% got there foot in the door first.

You many think there are alot of muskie fisherman..but Bass, Walleye and panfish make up the most of the fishing in the state.

Dave, no it is a resolution I am writing up for our local counties. I would really like to look at a resolution that has been written in the past regaurding this issue, for a little help. I'll be sure to get the word out about the Chip. Jinky the Twinky will be happy when I tell him.
