I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who has knowledge of the muskie fishing south of Mont Laurier, Quebec - approximately 2 hours north of Ottawa.
I'll be making a second trip up this July and it's been pretty rough finding out much the past year not knowing French.
Thanks!!! |

Location: Eastern Ontario | I don't know about guides but I hear muskies are hard to cacth in Lac Du Cerf. I'm sure there are much better waters to fish between here and there.

Location: East of muskie country | Richard I can attest to that regarding Lac Du Cerf as I was shut out 6 days last July in what seemed like prime conditions. Du Cerf is a deep, 300+ ft., very clear lake that supposedley has some monsters, at least in a few pics. I saw. I'll be sending you an email |

Location: Eastern Ontario | I know some guys who actually target muskie in that lake and have had more success while fishing for lakers as the cannonballs would get hammerred.
If I was you I would look for a smaller lake near there that has muskies. There is a bunch of them just loaded, may not put out 40 pounders but a lot of 25's. |
