I attended last year and was VERY IMPRESSED. This is a well organized school put on by a bunch of knowledgeable people. It's worth the drive no matter how long or short. I will attend this year and plan on bringing my young son as well. Great job organizers, you deserve a huge pat on the back! .....jim

It looks like I will be in on this also. Geoff asked me if I could do the "Muskie Fishing South East Wisconsin – Pewaukee, Oconomowoc, Okauchee" part of the classes. Good stuff coming out of this school. I am glad to be part of this.

Remember "Kids are the future of fishing" bring a kid or two to this event. Lots of great sticks and tons of years of experiance at this school. Something to learn for everyone, even the advanced angler should be able to pick up a tip or two. Maybe a marked map, high percentage pattern or the hot bait for that lake. Plenty for all to learn something.

Here's a brief update on the school faculty. We are pleased to announce that Mike Koepp of "Mikes Extreme Guide Service" based in Peeaukee has joined the faculty and will address the topic" Muskie Fishing in Southeast Wisconsin - Peewaukee, Oconomowoc & Okauchee".
Mike brings a very impressive depth of experience and is going to have an excellent session that you won' t want to miss. With all the muskies Mike and his clients tag year after year, including multiple 50"+ fish on Peewaukee - this is sure to be one tremendous class! It's the first time we've offered this class and it's in response to 2006 student evaluations and requests for new classes.

Also, we'd like to inform you that Jim Stroede a guide in the Hayward area is unfortunately not on the faculty this year (as we had mistakenly indicated earlier). Jim and his wife are expecting a new arrival at about the time of the school. We'd like to wish Jim and his wife the very best.

We are also very pleased to have several seasoned experts on our faculty who will be covering the "Canadian Muskie Fishing" session. Fisheries biologist Tom Penniston will cover Long-Legged and Stork Lakes, Matt Devos will be covering the Northwest Angle (Lake of the Woods) [he and his brother caught five muskies in one day last year in that area including a 50" muskie] and Muskie Inc. Hall of Famer Bill Wood will be covering Eagle Lake-East Arm. Now here three guys with some heavy, in-depth knowledge of these waters and we're very pleased to offer this session to you this year.

Also, we're pleased to announce that Tim & Kathi Brown the owners of "The Boat Doctor" marine repair and maintenance business based in Madison Wisconsins will be offering both a lunch mini-session as well as a full session this year on Boat, Motor and trailer maintenance. Tim has over 20 years experience as a certified marine repair specialist and is experienced in 2, 4 stroke as well as diesel marine motors. They have a thriving business and will be teaching an in-depth class and will share with you the basics of boat and motor systems. They will share with you tips on what to do when things go wrong and what to do to protect your boat, motor, prop and trailer and to head off problems and keep your boat & motor in excellent condition. With all the advances in computer technology and four stroke technology this stuff can get pretty tehnical and complicated. Tim and Kathi will break it down for you and will give you extremely useful information that could keep you out of trouble.

Last year we had approximately 160 people attend the school. While the facility can handle 200, that's will be our limit for 2007. Hopefully this will not become a problem. So while there is plenty of time still remaining and plenty of room, if you are sure you are going to attend, be aware that it will be on a first come - first serve basis. If you want to be sure, it is recommended that you register and let us mail you your enrollment confirmation with your class selections, so you can be assured a seat in the classes of your choosing.

We'll keep you updated on the school.

We believe this will be a fun event and the best school ever.

Hope you can make it!

Everyone is welcome! FYI - we have been receiving enrollments at a steady pace recently and our over half-filled. We still have room for you. We will have many new classes to chose from and many highly talented instructors!

Kids under 18 are only $5. Otherwise, its $25 ($35 if received after 3-19-07) which includes all tuition costs, doffee & donuts in the a.m. and a fantastic hot lunch w/dessert. Also, turn in the evlauation form and you'll get a free door prize ticket and the opportunity to win a nice door prize.

Hope to see you there.
