Get back to the basics and pay more attention to detail. 2006 was a grind for me. I got sloppy in the boat and lost focus. I didn't have the success I usually do in the early part of the season and it carried over into the remainder of the season. This year my goals are:

better casting
better boat control
retie more often
keep a PMA when things are going bad
figure 8 50% of the time (I am horrible with this and 100% isn't realistic)
Have fun
fish better water

If I reach my goals more and bigger fish will find there way to my boat.

My boat is beyond repair, and I won't be able to get a different one until 2008. Long story. I won't get many opportunities in 2007, so I'm going large. My goal is a 50 incher. I'll be sticking with larger baits all year, and hopefully I'll have some success.
