I started making a double #10 marabou tail this fall. I call it the Dinner Bell. I am using .051 wire and they have a 3/4 oz. keel weight on them. I will be making 100 hundred of these this winter. I will probably keep 10 of them, donate another 10 and sell 80 of them. When those 80 are gone that is it for the year. I am a fisherman first, so once the first Saturday in May rolls around no more Dinner Bells will be made. I have some 6/0 VMC hooks on order so you can choose between two 5/0 or two 6/0 hooks. I will custom make them with the following choices.

Blade choices: Nickel, gold, chartreuse, orange, fl. red, fl. green.

Primary tail colors: black, purple and white.

enhancement colors (hackle): white, black, purple, chartreuse, orange, red, orange and pink.

The cost for a Dinner Bell is $15 with a $4 shipping charge per order(lower 48). If you order four or more I will ship them for free in the lower 48.

Here is a link to some that are already made up and for sale on the buy and trade board.

My VMC 6/0 hooks are in so you can now pick which size hooks you want on your custom Dinner Bell.

When did this "can only edit posts that were made in the last 30 minutes" start?

Bucktails are like woman....one man's nightmare is another man's treasure. I have been making some pretty funky customs.
