Posts: 2865 Location: Brookfield, WI | Not many for me until I learn to use everything I bought last year. Maybe I'll use the money for a row troller and hire somebody to troll row it. Kevin He catches fish the old-fashioned way, he earns them.

i agree with brad. i am no where near a bait freak anymore...i know what baits catch fish for me and those are the ones I buy. i probably threw 4 different baits 99% of the time this year.

Posts: 1764 Location: Ogden, Ut | I'll probably wait til the Debbie Breyer Benefit auction, there's gonna be a ton of good stuff being sold there. If there's anything I 'need' that's probably where I'll try to pick it up. I'll never make it to a show anyway, getting stuff on this site is as close as I get. S. OK, I notice all of the multiple answers all have one thing in common. All are plastic lures. Are they just soooo good, or do they get ripped apart and are pretty much a one-fish lure? I used regular dawgs when they came out, and I still have about a dozen. I only have a couple mag dawgs, but out of all of them, all but one has been half-assed repaired and not from trophy muskies. I finally broke the muskie cherry on an uptown dawg last year on a 40+- fish. All the others have been ripped apart by pike. I've glued them. I've used a torch to repair them. Every repaired lure has torn completely when it was hit the second or third time. I love the action, the ease, and most of all, the figure 8 ability of the lure. When I get a follow on a dawg, I will 8 it high and deep, fast and slow, and do it for a long time. It's a figure 8ers dream. I just think that the durability is a drawback. With gliders that I use alot of, I can coat any scratches , tooth marks and chips with some Devcon epoxy or nail polish...usually both. But injured dawgs are like a horse with a broken leg for me. Convince me to stick with them.
