Plan on fishing Thursday from about 9am-3pm. Just a question to all:
If it is a full sun day with temps in the high 40s/low 50s would working the breaks into deep water be better or do you think the muskies (and baitfish) would move into the shallow areas for the warmer water. Not sure if I should concentrate on the mid water humps with deep water near or just go shallow.

TIA,
James

If you're thinking of city lakes, fish open water, deep humps, if you're thinkin' Bald Eagle, WBL, Tonka, etc, I would check shallow sand/rock with a jig or suick in the a.m. then move out to open water. Thats the strategy i'm going with until the next cold front. Hope this helps.

Waconia lake. Just heard big 12"-13" suckers are getting fish in the boat the last few days from my local bait shop.
Thanks,
James

I'd still try shallow rocks/sand first, then move deep. I'll be on tonka all weekend, if I shake something loose I'll let you know. Good Luck!
