Location: Princeton Mn. | I purchased a 1990 Tuffy 180 T. This will be a winter project to clean it up, rig it, and get used to the idea of a tiller!
Couple of questions,
Does it have any floatation foam?
The "back" drivers seat is mounted on a removable platform, was this standard or a add on?
The console is a wedge looking thing, can this be relocated with out exposing alot of holes, did all the wires run through one hole or several?
I can not find the coast guard rating plate anywhere! Where should it be, or does anyone know the rating information.
Where will I find the serial number for the hull?
Any help will be great, I'm sure I'll have more questions! |

Location: Milwaukee,Wi | Is it a 180 Rampage xt? If it is I should be able to answer your questions.

I have an 89 Tuffy Rampage 180 XT. The boat in this picture looks the same. I've gone over mine completely.Wiring, fuel line, carpet, control panel, paint, and replaced a spongy front deck.
Flotation foam was in both side pods aft of the rod lockers and in the bow.
Back seat is permanantly mounted on the floor slightly to the right.
The console wedge had nothing but mounting screw holes to the hull. Wires ran to it from under the splashwell.
My Coast Guard tag was to the right of the wedge but all info unreadable.
Serial # tag was on the face of the splashwell.
Hope this helps!
