New Flasher Inline. 11" and 2.5 ounces. Dual Mustad hooks. Green and Silver Tail. Can see it a mile away in the water.

Cool looking bait. Is that saltwater flashabou? Are those #8 Colorado blades?

Also, how do you guys measure the length of a lure? I'd say that bait is only 7 inches long (body profile) or maybe 10 inches long if you include the blades as part of the lure's profile.... but not 11 inches. What is standard protocol for this?

Total length of someting like this is and will be 11". There is a rear and front hook. In most cases, I will determine the total length from the lure eye to the base of the hook. Anything that hangs past the hook is usually not included in the length. It depends on the lure and the maker as everyone is different. As far as hard baits, the length is the actual body itself.
