Just picked up the new 7000ihsn and my first impression is very nice. Very sharp looking with the new black color. Also noticed the new soft power handle which is much more comfortable. The reel also bulked up from 16.6 ounces from the old one to 20 ounces on the new one. The new reel must have different bearings then the old one because of how smooth it is. The bearing count is the same at 3. No matter how clean I kept the old reel, it never did reel very smoothly. Big improvement in the new HSN, smooth reeling and very quiet. The lever spool release one would have to get used to. Anybody fishing with the old HSN, this new one blows it away! Kdawg
