Nothing on Mille Lacs Sunday except a 25" walleye that hit a depthraider. Fished the north side and Garrison reef. Tried a smaller lake in the neiborhood and saw one very nice fish but no takers. I've had pretty rotten fishing the last few weeks.

I am heading out this Saturday, probably on the South end. Anyone else heading up to Mille Lacs this weekend. I'm hoping to improve upon a 12 hour day 2 weeks ago where I didn't even see a fish.
Anyone floated a Sucker late in the year on Mille Lacs?

Heading up on Fri. afternoon. Plan on fishing that evening, Sat & part of Sun. w/ my son. Staying in Isle so we"ll be hitting S. & E. sides mostly (depending on wind). Hope it's not too cold - or snowy.

Looks like the forecast is improving a bit! 43 and partly cloudy for Saturday, and 45 for Sunday.
I'm planning to hit the Suick hard on Saturday... what are you favorite baits on Mille Lacs this time of year?

ME AND A FRIEND WERE UP FROM 15TH TO THE 17TH AND BOATED A 43 AND 45 SAW A NOTHER COUPLE OF NICE FISH NOTHING HUGE THOUGH. BOTH FISH CAME FROM THE SOUTH
END ON ROCK. DID HERE OF A GUY CAUGHT 3 ON A POWNDER DAWG IN THE WEEDS. WE TRIED THE WEEDS WITH NO RESULTS. ONLY REASON WE FISHED THE SOUTH WAS DUE TO
THE WIND. BOTH OUR FISH WERE CAUGHT ON THE 8, USING MINNOW BAITS. FOLLOWS WERE
ON PLASTIC. HOPE THIS HELPS SOME. GOOD LUCK.

I was up there last week. Didn't bring any Muskies up, but I managed to catch a fat 42 inch Pike. Don't know what the Muskies were doing because we threw everything except the sink after them. My shoulders really hurt the next day.

The water is really low so you might want to bring a spare prop along just in case....

Thanks for the update - not good news but won't stop me from trying again tomorrow. At least we won't have to deal with ice after the warmer temps the past few days.
