I was going to pick up suckers for the PI trip around here but I thought I would get some prices from the Northern boys.

I am looking for suckers in the 12 to 20-inch range. Most of the prices are $5.00 and up for these sized suckers around here. I would like the up north black bueatys for my PI partners.

Who has the good suckers available and how much?

I think that if you are getting suckers over 12 inches for $5.00, you are doing alright. I am getting them for a buck cheaper, because I ordered in advance.
See you up there, Bro!

hellraiser pretty much covers it for the area. the bonus for buying his though is that it's just one short block from having a pop at the shamrock and the gaslight which are must stop places in the northwoods.

I paid 4.00 for mediums in Land O Lakes this past weekend. Large were 5.00 and XL were 6.50.

I think the gas station in Manitowish Waters has good prices on suckers this time of year from what I remember...otherwise Flambeau Flowage sports in Mercer will give you good prices if you buy 6 or more....

Suess's in Rhinelander, about $3.50 each . GREAT suckers and the musky like them too. No matter the size, they are all the same price. Call ahead and make sure they have some for you.

Check out J&J's in Lake Tomahawk as well. GREAT people, GREAT place, GREAT bait. Service is second to none.

About .5-1 mile past Fleet Farm(on 45 North of Antigo) Rush's Bait shop on the east side, he should have what you are looking for, and usually decent prices, he is an old time minnow trapper/baitshop.

I was up in P.I. this past weekend and the gas station sold out of suckers Friday. The other bait shop in P.I. had just got a batch of 200 but they were going fast. Suckers might be hard to come by up there in another week, so you might want to look at picking them up on the way north. Large suckers were $5 to $5.50 depending where you shopped.
