I get out about 8 times per year, not including the one week vacation at the lake that I've done for 4 years now. I have two free weekends a month, and if the weather is bad, I'm down to one. That probably explains why I caught one fish last year, and one this year. I don't catch as many fish as others, but I try to have an active role in preserving the resource anyway. I recently wrote a couple of articles for Muskie magazine, and produced a Brochure on the diet of muskies that I've had placed in Fleet Farm, Gander Mountain, Sportsman's Warehouse, and Sheels. In the Fargo-Moorhead area that is. A good day used to be seeing a fish, and a great day was hooking up with one. I've been fortunate to have a few multiple fish days, but right now I'm happy if I just see a fish or two. I figure that I'll eventually be on the lake in the right place and at the right time to catch that big mutha. Hopefully I'll be ready. Right now I'm looking forward to the Muskies Inc. Fall board meeting next week. Should be very interesting. Later.

Posts: 392 Location: KY | I have two young kids, so fishing on a regular basis is almost impossible. I have fished six or seven days for muskie the last two years. Plus three or four days fishing for bass in the heat of the summer. It will get better.

Posts: 284 Location: Fishing the weeds | I'm on the water 2-3 times per week from ice-out to ice-up. It's my refuge from my business. No closed season out here in NJ but, I'm usually Bass fishing during the summer due to high water temps and tournament season. Pat

Posts: 313 Location: On your favorite spot | I'm lucky to only work 4 days a week. At minimum, I get to fish 3 full days and most weeks I go at least one additional morning a week. Life is good...... No girlfriend, no kids, new boat, don't drink alot. Some may think it's lame, but since I moved here just to fish (from Missouri), I think it's awesome!!! BTW, nice to see the musky fishing catching on in the Show-Me State! Didn't make it down to Pomme too much but Hazel Creek was fun. Edited by Marc J 10/14/2006 8:19 PM
