When are the best times to work "walk the dog" style lures?? I haven't had any luck with them until this past weekend, I caught a 42" at dusk.....like i said, I haven't had much luck with them, but I really like to fish with them.......is there a particular time of the year that they work, or a particular water temp range, time of day.......I'm fishing in the south(va) but noticed that the cooler nights are starting to drop the water temp some.....I'm sure it's gettin chilly up north.......just wondering what kind of conditions you like to throw WTD lures. Thanks.

I find that they are good just about any time. But better at low light for surface WTD lures. Subsurface WTD lures are good all the time except when they have gone real deep.

I throw them all the way to Ice Up. Perkettes and Weagles, Wabulls and Castors. Others, too! H20, Jerkos, and more...
