Posts: 786 Location: Minnesota | Southshore, I second the MRG rec. He paints a lot of my baits and I have been very happy with his work. My baits are much larger than his average but you will get the picture. Also search Google for MRG and suick and you will find some other online stores taht carry MRG specialty painted Suicks. Will help you see his work on that bait. James My MRG Grunts: http://www.gruntmuskielures.com/mrgmuskielures.html Google search on MRG and Suick: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=mrg+suick Smokeys has a few MRG baits too: http://www.smokeysmuskieshop.com/

Posts: 605 Location: Marshfield, WI | My friend repaints baits. Check out his link at the bottom of my post. He lives in Appleton and is pretty fast. He repainted one of my suicks and first cast with it, I had a musky hit. It got away though. It left some nice teethmarks(in the clearcoat, paint still looks new) Krishna Edited by k-bob 9/9/2006 9:58 PM

I repaint them, and I also reshape them and give them more of a rounded shape like the old ones. I do it to all of mine, and get better wobble and shimmy on the rise by doing it.

Posts: 941 Location: Freedom, WI | Yes, Beaver does do good work but you mentioned Chicago otherwise I would have mentioned him. Steve knows Suicks and if he says Beaver does a good Suick rebuild he is not kidding.
