Location: Orland Park | Never fished Bone this early in the year. I've always been there after turnover.
Anyone have suggestions on how to fish it this time of year? Do we find weeds, or fish the breakline like we do in the fall? |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Don't ignore the sand edges where the break is fast, this time of year the fish can be there in numbers. Sharp breaks, sand bottom, some vegetation but not much. Evenings and early mornings. Deep weedlines, obviously, too. |

| The weed edges were good last weekend, black and orange bulldawgs were moving fish
and i know of a 47'' caught on a sucker pattern. You will find some suspended out deep to
if you can find some good schools of baitfish. Night fishing can be very good to,i usually
fish shallow 2 to 8 ft with topwater baits -creepers and hawgwablers dark colors.
good luck! |
