I am going to look at some hand held GPS. I think I will have access to a Navionics Premier Eagle chip. Will it work? Is is worth it?

Pardon me if this is a really ignorant question, but I haven't looked at them yet. I should already know, but I fell a little behind in the plan.

I have the H2OC Lowrance with the Navionics Gold North chip. I am very pleased with this unit, but it has been discussed here before, don't totally rely on maps. Some are quite true and others are off a bit. Still works great for marking waypoints and creating a plot trail.
