Ok for all of those who fish Mille Lacs the Vinland public access is soooo shallow we put our boat on the rocks twice today. We dinged a prop so we walked it in; be careful. The boats ok but be careful; dont fly through there. Be safe; I dont want anybody to get hurt or hurt there pride and joy [thats your boat].

We were ok launching out of McQuoid's Tuesday through Friday, although one of the guys in our group took a little fiberglass out of his transom. North of Vineland bay you could try launching at a place called Terry's. No problems with their access, and not a very far boat ride from Vineland. (A 55" fish was also caught close to that area on Wednesday).

Forest is dead also. I heard of two guys I know that spend as much time as anyone each year on Mille rolling props on rocks in the last week! Even the areas that don't have bouys are hitable right now including the north end.
