Posts: 2089 | Had a couple days off and stopped into Thornes yesterday.Picked up some misc. stuff for the next couple of weeks.Just in were the replacement tails for Bulldawgs or other plastics, made by Shack Attack.Last night I went out to the "Pet Cemetary" in my garage(where all the tail-less dawgs hang)and gathered the carnage.Using the Hawgseekers glue system, I was able to replace ALL the tails AND repair the nose on a few where the weight was coming through.Awesome!!!!!Really don't feel like writing off a dozen Dawgs at 15-16 bucks a pop.My wallet thanks you as do I.I know there are lots of others with tail-less dawgs, and now there is a great option to get them back on/in the water. Posts: 1504 Location: Oregon | I wondered when someone would finally make a replacement for the dawgs. Does the glue system look like it's going to hold up? jed v. Edited by RiverMan 8/2/2006 9:39 AM

Posts: 734 Location: Watertown, MN | It is good, it kept my favorite old dawg together after being attacked by another 3 fish last weekend. This dawg is now half glue, half rubber. I even have rerun the the seven strand through the eyelet to keep my front hook in place. After losing a fish, I had to repair the dawg, the next cast a 45", was wondering if the glue might be an attractent. Troyz

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | This was one of the best buys I got at the shows. I know when the word gets out about how GOOD this works it will be a must have glue. I have repaired multiple rubber baits with this glue and also made some home made custom cranks with tails. This stuff is the real deal. Keep up the good work Hawgseekers Tackle!!!

Posts: 364 Location: Kentucky | The stuff also works great to seal a chip in gliders or cranks that are thru the clearcoat down to the wood. Just squeeze any superglue onto the hole and spray with the accelerant... presto!

Posts: 734 Location: Watertown, MN | Sponge I am not sure, put it will keep your lips sealed from first had knowledge. I cut open the top and nothing was coming out, so I thought I would be smart and use thy mouth for checking the opening, it was open and my lips were coated, taste okay, and doubles as lip block. Posts: 8848 | Sponge I don't recommend duct tape for any parts that got hair on 'em, most specially the arse -- that's GOTTA hurt! about the glue though -- does it dry all crunchy and make your dawgs work funny? How much do you need?

Posts: 2091 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Sponge - 8/4/2006 8:06 PM Fortunately EA, me hiny is smooth as a new penny, but all that tape makes me backside look like a hot air balloon...know the feeling Todd, first wifester was a human laxative, cleaned me out good, but at least she left me enough arse so I don't poke a hole in a wicker chair when I sit down. Thanks for the laugh Sponge!

| AS MOST OF YOU KNOW SUPER GLUE JUST DOESN'T CUT IT AND WHILE HEATING THEM WILL REPAIR IN A PINCH IT REALLY MESSES UP THE BAIT AND IS REALLY NOTHING MORE THAN A LAST DITCH EFFORT. WHAT WORKS REALLY GOOD IF/WHEN YOU CAN'T GET THE GLUE MENTIONED IS PVC GLUE,ON ALL PLASTICS. | |||

Location: Athens, Ohio | I've used the Hawgseekers glue on plastic and it didn't get crunchy. It's a two part system, with a goo then a spray fixer, seems to move with the rubber from what I've done so far. Sponge, you crack me up. m
