Posts: 2865 Location: Brookfield, WI | I've been watching Shark Week and my Eagle trip is coming up in three weeks. Last night I had a dream where first my buddy bought licenses for all four of us that expired two days before the trip was over. Then we were catching walleyes and every one we pulled in had big bites taken out of it. They were shredded. Lastly we couldn't find our way back to camp. I woke up in a cold sweat. Anyone care to interpret? Should I be worried, or were those huge muskies taking the chunks out of the walleyes? Kevin Eagle is very nigh for Slamr.

Location: The Yahara Chain | Kevin no prefishing in your dreams???? You know the hardcore prefishers take the hooks off of their baits while prefishing. My theory on why they do this is.....They want to insure that they don't catch a fish to simulate what will happen to them during the tournament.

Of course you'll get back to camp; if you are concerned leave a trail of bread crumbs or if you are like Steve Jonesi, chips.......

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Kevin, those dreams are just a start for all the huge muskies you will soon be watching follow your baits to the first turn on your figure 8 and eat. Shreaded walleye is good!!! We do it all the time icefishing when the tinfoil pack comes out of the heater and the pack opens. Seconds later it's shredded and washed down with some cold beer. YUMMY We got to get out soon and get you a muskie to calm you anticipation for your Eagle trip. Pick a Monday soon and lets make it happen. I don't guide on Mondays and I will take you out and get you a nerve settler, my treat. Call me this weekned, the fish have been rockin. Here is a preview from one of the 4 muskies my clients got last night. This 48-incher is the only fish that was removed from the water. She was out 20 seconds max and swam off strong. Id interpret it to mean that many big Eagle fish are in your future. Drop me a line one of these days if you are gonna be in the area of the Waterfront...maybe we can get Capt. Koepp out for a few drinks and some muskie talk.
