Subject: 2000 Ranger Brake Pads


I lost my book for my Ranger trailer:( I need some help! I need to now what the part # for the Brake pads on the trailer.. It's the the big trailer the hauls a 620 with tandom wheels.. I think the pads are for a Dodge ?? If you have a Ranger Trailer book with the info can you help me out .. Thanks

yep, dodge Spirit, the hard part is finding Organic pads. the manual says not to use metallic ones, because they rust after each use and then the first time you apply the breaks you wear the rust off on the rotors, which wears the rotors out faster. I could not get organics, so I used Metallic, working fine so far. I figured after another 5 years it will be time to replace the rotors anyway. If you want organic ones I would recommend calling Ranger Parts at 870-453-2222 or 800-724-7273. I used part # PGD524M, from a local AC Delco dealer, price was $46 and my trailer is a 2001 but I bet they are the same.
