i am heading up to n. wis. in a couple weeks. i might do some row trolling because the lodge comes with
a free row boat. what are your guys favorite lures for row trolling on shallow weedy lakes. how many
rods can one person use?

Three rods per person, spinnerbaits and topwaters in the weedy stuff.

seeing how it will be my first time and im probally not that organized i am just going to use one line.
i could see it being a real mess by my self in the boat with a muskie on and two or three lines all
over, lol. it's going to be hard enough trying to net the fish by my self in a small rowboat anyways.
i am planning on using some topwaters and if i can find some open water some cranks.

Anyone know of a good inexpensive light boat specifically designed for row trolling?

I,d pick up a copy of WoodenBoat magazine.I got my boat out of there. It weighs around a hundred lbs. Someone told me somebody makes carbon fiber boats that weigh less than 45 lbs.If I can get any info on this I would greatly appreiciate it.....Otherwise I.d tie on a Top raider or a floating bucktail...
