Posts: 358 Location: London, England | The way the standard ones are built means that they will go floppy after some use as the rivet wears loose. The 7000 handles are made differently and will not go floppy, but unfortunately they don't fit the 6500 size reels. Hatteras do some snazzy Japanese models (see picture) which are constructed like the 7000 handles, so won't go floppy, but if you're like me, you'll bend the handle when you set the hook!
