| Deadman's gives up state record muskie
By MARK HENCKEL
Billings Gazette, outdoor editor
Billings angler Marty Storfa caught a state record tiger muskie at Deadman's Basin on Monday.
Storfa was fishing with a bucktail spinner when he hooked the huge fish. It was 46 inches long, 21.5-inches in girth and weighed 28.87 pounds.
The previous record weighed 27 pounds and was 45.25 inches long. It was caught by Dan Dupea out of Lebo Lake in 1994. |

Location: Valentine, NE USA | ...think she might have been iced down, the photo looks to be taken at the MFWP headquarters in Billings (2 hours away from Deadman's).
Coming from the mother of all "give me trout or give me death" states...it's a nice fish.
