Posts: 605 Location: Marshfield, WI | Right now, my most productive custom lure is a squirko/jerko combo painted by Keith Eldrup, which I won on ebay. The jerko has 3 muskies, at least one pike, and one walleye, along with several hits and misses and a few follows. The squirko, in limited use, has caught one 41.5" musky. That was the last time out. It will definitely see more use now. Another favorite that I got recently but hasn't produced yet is a red crappie jerko painted up by Stan Durst. It looks very cool and Stan added his special touch. I made this one myself, and although this one has yet to produce, I have caught a couple on another color. It's always nice to catch a fish on a lure you carved out yourself. This one may produce next time out. Attachments ---------------- Derry's.JPG (95KB - 102 downloads)

Posts: 502 Location: Lincoln UK | Two opposite ends of the spectrum for me a spinnerbait and a glider, I have been totally won over my muskiemachineries spinnerbaits, built like tanks and fantastic actions, I fish waters with huge boulder snags and they are the only spinnerbaits that can deal with the grief that I give them and run so true despite there treatment, the huey in particular is a favorite, hell of a thump to it. Trueglide Guppies, cut them in half and it would say quality all the way through, just get follows and hits when nothing else does, great looking great actioned baits.

Location: Northern Wisconsin | the action with the tail seems a little different. it might have a little more wobble or it may just be an illusion given by the tail. i like it alot better though with the tail. i can straight reel it in, jerk/twitch and walk the dog in on retreives.
