Posts: 2378 | Did some night fishing on Saturday. I lost about about a 36 and boated a 39-40 on a XX (that bait is starting to put some fish in the boat, especially at night). Partner boated a FAT 46 on a spinnerbait. Good, fun night on the water. I havent fished much this year, but have had only one unsuccessful trip. Lets hope it stays that way...

Posts: 1764 Location: Ogden, Ut | Took the family camping and fishing on Flaming Gorge Reservoir for the weekend. Pineview is just too much of a zoo w/ recreational boaters on holiday weekends to be much fun. We fished for kokanee salmon, lake trout, rainbow trout and smallmouth bass and were successful on all of them. Quite a few fish, just not much for size. Hit a real fun topwater bit on the smallmouth. I put a representative pic of the kokanee on SalmonFIRST. Sorno

Posts: 3240 Location: Racine, Wi | Had a great weekend. Got out salmon trolling for the first time with Slamr and Musky Mike. We got 2 and lost 2, pics and story on Salmonfirst. I'm definitely going to be doing more of that. Then Sunday, I got out with my nephew and he scored his first at 43"s. Not bad for his second time musky fishing. It hit right at the boat too on a TR. I think he's still shaking. We lost one other and raised a few more as well. Attachments ---------------- michaelsfirst.jpg (44KB - 80 downloads)

Posts: 327 | I managed to get the boat hooked up to the truck , that's the extent of my fishing this weekend !! Muskie Mike ans I were going to get out an monday , but he overslept and I woke up to thunder and lightning and the radar showed no signs of breaking anytime soon ... it was a good thing he overslept or we would've sat in the truck at the launch for at least half the day !!! I don't mess with lightning , not worth the risk just to catch a fish .

Posts: 1916 Location: Greenfield, WI | I took my son and daughter out on Lake Michigan Tuesday morning, with Bill Schwartz. We caught 8 chinooks and missed 20!! The kids aren't used to handling salmon tackle, but it was tough sledding anyhow. We had a great time, thanks Bill. I spent the rest of the day working on my Magnum. Muskies Beware!

That 39 looks like a tiger to me, or was it just from different water. the others look like dark water fish, but that one is purdy. Beav
