Posts: 181 | Who makes the largest prop bait on the market? I was at GMan's house today and he got the wheels turning with one he made a while back, I think he said he built like twenty of them, if anyone has one of his and wants to part with it email me! [email protected]

Posts: 369 Location: Omaha NE | I second American Hardwood lures he makes the Lac Seul Gaint (11.5 inches), Two Timer which is his double prop bait (10.25 inches), and the Lac Seul Medium (9.5inches). His lures are well worth the money and he does awesome paint jobs and his clear coat stands up to anything. Posts: 479 Location: Eden Prairie & Pine Island | If I could get 3.5 inch diameter pine dowels, I would make some of those whoppers again which were 14 inches long and inspired by Happy Hooker's suggestion to me a few years ago. Trouble is turning a square chunk down on my mini lathe, so I'd like to start with a round dowel. Anyone know where I might get, say 12-20 high quality, kiln dried pine dowels of that diameter?

Posts: 479 Location: Eden Prairie & Pine Island | I have located some large 3" Cedar dowels kiln dried and prime quality, so I expect to have maybe a dozen of the GIANT tail poppers ready in a few weeks. I'll post again then. In the meantime, anyone have any color suggestions/preferences?
