| Prettiest muskie I've ever seen was a ~ 28" tiger from Wallum Lake in NW Rhode Island circa 1999. Absolutely georgous fish- wish I'd had a camera with. It had been hit by a boat prop & was struggling for survival right by the boat launch on the west shoreline. I hope it survived. Wallum was stocked w/tigers by the RI DNR( since discontinued)- RI doesn't have any muskie season, it's open all year.. Wallum is also stocked with trout. So most folks don't fish for muskies there. I'd like to see that fish today. Al | |||

Posts: 135 Location: Elgin, IL | I love the way Tigers look too... but, I'm pretty partial to some of the vividly marked Upper Mississippi strain fish caught from the Leech/Cass/Bemidji area. Coloration is usually more pronounced in the 30 to 40 inch range too.

Location: The Yahara Chain | The really big tigers on the Chippewa Flowage are the prettiest that I have scene. The older they get the darker they get. Attachments ---------------- October30Chip 003a.jpg (48KB - 212 downloads)

Location: The Yahara Chain | Here is the prettiest natural musky that I have caught. It was very sunny so the picture doesn't do her justice. The release shot gives you a better idea of how green she was. Posts: 2427 Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | I really like this fish that we caught 2 weeks ago. The silver sides and the very straight white belly is amazing. The belly was so white and her sides so perfectly silver and spotted. Gorgeous fish. Attachments ---------------- bet49.jpg (93KB - 181 downloads)

Posts: 94 | Enterprise That fish, in the picture, has to be one of the most unique and pretty fish I have seen on the web. The small spots make it look like a Dalmation dogs coloring. Very Very Nice. Chris

Posts: 1906 Location: Oconto Falls, WI | This is the only one I can find on my computer right now. One of the better looking WI Barred I have seen. I am also very fond of the ones that look like the one Mike posted. Gotta love the crisp white belly line, and darker side markings!
