Posts: 128 Location: ontario canada - Well Anderson Indiana now | I've recently moved to Anderson Indiana from Ontario and I have been looking for a decent boat for musky fishing in the 4-5k range. I've seen some good deals on ebay but I'm hesitant to make a purchase without even seeing the boat in person. If anybody has a boat, knows somebody selling, or has any suggestions please don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks Doug Market

Posts: 743 | www.indystar.com Doug..i just sold my old tracker for $4k thru the indy star..(the Indianapolis newspaper). check out the indy star's classifieds online/in the paper regularly. there are fishing boats in there about every week. welcome to the Hoosier state..or welcome back, whatever it may be. being in Indiana..you can probably find alot of Trackers, Crestliners and some Lunds in that price range. You can fish out of an alumimum bass boat on any indiana lake and be OK. Denny's marina near anderson is the MOST EXPENSIVE place in the state..they'll whack ya'.. Doug..if you are JONSIN, like any self respecting musky man to get out and fish.. email me... we can meet up for some casting.. tomcat [email protected]

Posts: 128 Location: ontario canada - Well Anderson Indiana now | Tomcat, thank you so much for your input and offer! I'll check out indystar.com right now, I don't think I'm going to get much work done today! Thanks for welcoming me to Indiana, I've been here for about a year now, recently got my green card and the ability to work and all that. Paid off the lawyers so now I need a boat! Again thanks for the offer to get out on the lakes with you, I may take you up on that offer or perhaps just buy you a beer one day for your generosity. All of my equipment is at our cottage in Ontario, when I finally get my hands on it, and if I don't have a boat yet... And BTW, the reason I posted this on MuskieFirst is because if someone did have a boat for sale, at least I would know it would be an honest seller. Although I figure the boat would probably have a million miles on it but it is still worth it! Thanks again Tomcat, we should keep in touch. Doug Market
