Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I was on Pelican last night, yeah, I know, its Oneida County.....anyway, temps were at 53*.

| I was on Crab lake in Vilas County for the opener and saw a lot of scarred up muskies in the shallow river that connects Crab to North Crab. That tells me that those muskies had already spawned. That was almost 2 weeks ago now. So to answer your question I thnik they will be done spawning in Vilas Co. |

| I think the fish spawned several weeks ago when the water temps were in the 60's. Even though the water temps have cooled off, I believe that the fish are out of the spawn mode and have moved on to the feeding mode! I think the opener will be pretty good.
