The do some strange things in KY, I guess. Paint a rubber bait? There is a product out there called spike it you can use to dye your dawgs if that's what you meant.

Posts: 1237 Location: South Portsmouth, KY | yea. us kentuckians are pretty strange. what i meant was just a custom colored bulldawg. not really paint, but however they make them. just like they come from musky innovations but with a pattern that they dont cary.

Location: Des Moines IA | A bunch of us "ordered" custom purple dawgs from Brad @ MI. I think the rubber is already colored before it is poured. I also think you need a minimum order of 50 to get them to do a "custom" batch for you.

Location: Des Moines IA | I just looked at my custom Mag Dawg from the Chicago Show, it looks like an all orange body, painted with black spots and a black head? Maybe you can paint rubber after all?

Posts: 1237 Location: South Portsmouth, KY | I was looking for a lake trout pattern on one. I guess if i cant find one, i might be able to just add some white spots on it.

Posts: 810 | If you're looking for a Trout color, check out the new colors on the Uptown Dawgs, I'm pretty sure they had a Rainbow Trout pattern if that's what you're looking for.

Location: Des Moines IA | I think we all read the same post about the purple dawgs shipping May 8th, right? The postman woke me up today with a package, and I thought it was the dawgs. But no, it was a package for my roommate. Anybody know how to get a hold of Brad? Ask him if they were shipped? I'm hoping to atleast have them for the Rhinelander outing ........

Posts: 1080 | I haven't seen my account get billed yet for the bulldawgs either. So that leads me to believe that they haven't shipped yet either. You'd think the funds would be withdrawn from the account before they're shipped. Back when we ordered these things, I had talked with Brad on the phone to give him my info and he said he would not bill me for the dawgs until they were produced and ready to be shipped. Posts: 8781 | The spots/stripes on the custom dawgs from the 2006 show season are definitely painted on. I don't know how or with what, but it can be done.

Posts: 814 | Here is Brad's #1-920-565-7631!!!! Your dogs will come and they are ordered and he should be getting them any day now if he hasn't already. Hey Anonymous maybe if you want to complain about something you should talk to Brad and he can cancell your order since you are so disapointed! If your purple bulldawg is keeping you from catching fish you have other problems! don't hide behind your post man! Mike Leombruni

Posts: 501 Location: Norway | I read in a magazine, while i visited US about coloring plastics, from what i could tell, they uses a "marker" specific for this. Ill see if I can find the article again. These is what they used in the article: http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=44444&hvar...
