Posts: 281 Location: Girdwood, Alaska | These are my first attempts at painting crankbaits, not terrible for a first try (Even signed them :-) ). I would like to thank Rob from Muskynightmare for giving me the blanks... so Thank you very much! The top one is a Lolleita twitchbait painted in a bullhead pattern, and the bottom one is a Nessa crank painted in a gizzard shad type color. Thanks again Rob! Those are your first attempts? I wish my first attempts were that beautiful, Alex. Great work and the patterns look like they'll tempt the beast into biting too.

Posts: 434 Location: Omaha, Nebraska | What are you making fun of Xbox? I like playing Xbox but it is not my life. I know some people on average that play 45.5 hours of Xbox a week. But yea could I have some blanks nightmare? I would like to custom paint a little something something.

Posts: 2112 Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | Video games is what robbed me from a major part of my kid's lives, as well as D&D (thanx to my ex-beotch). I'll ship a few blanks, for waiting so long for your re-paints. Edited by muskynightmare 5/10/2006 11:30 PM

Posts: 434 Location: Omaha, Nebraska | I MAYBE play three hours of Video games a week. And if I have the chance to go fishing or hunting I would rather go over Video games any day. Edited by DEMolishedyou2 5/12/2006 8:19 PM

Posts: 786 Location: Minnesota | Muskie-kid For scale patterns try some old football shirts or beach bags. Anything with a patern you can spray paint through is great! I know of some lures that use lace or womens stockings too. As for the Suicks, I put mine towards the front of the lure. On my 9 inch Suicks they are about 0.5 inches behind the front hook.. Posts: 619 Location: Verona, WI | Slow down on the Xbox - I love my 360. Seriously the paint jobs look great. I really like the Nessa trolled - it doesn't dive deep so it's great for trolling over weed beds. Shane

Posts: 2384 Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | Good job for you're first try. Here's a tip: lay down a coat of yellow paint before you put your orange down. You'll get a much fuller and brighter orange that way.
