I am looking to find an older tuffy (as far back as the 1980's). Is there any problems I should be on the look out for? I have seen some other models that have soft floors or stress cracks.

Thanks for your help,

CI

Main thing is the wood, definitely in the transom especially. It can be replaced so that is an option. Look for damage in the gelcoat. That can be fixed too but these will all add to cost. Older boats will ahev older trolling motors and electronics. if you want to upgrade, there is more cost too. There are some older sweet tuffy boats out there though, gopod luck.

Thanks, still looking. It has been hard to find a good mix of condition and dollars.
