Curious to know if there are any of us left? I don't cosider soft plastic in this category as I've been using plastic worms for bass for years. I only avoid mass produced hard plastic like bucher, mania ect..... No hard feelings towards those who do just was wondering

Most of my favorite baits are wood, but I will use the best tool for the job. And many of those are hard plastic

I don't have any jerk baits or gliders that aren't wood.
I have some plastic cranks....Ernies, Jakes, Depth Raiders, but that is it.

For jerkbaits, I pretty much like to throw the old hard pine foolers and bobbie baits. I have a manta, but it does not get much use. I guess I am just used to the older jerkbaits.

I'm personally not that fussy, but looking at my hard baits (glides, jerks, cranks), most are indeed wood. Hardly any of my bucktails are though
Come to think of it, very few of my 'bucktails' are actually constructed of bucktail. Most seem to now be made of maribou, silicone, rubber, squirrel, tinsel, feathers...
