Posts: 2427 Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | Had yet another great week on the water, and got to share my boat with some old and new friends. Had folks from Indy, Chicago, Ohio, and even some great guys new to Hoosier Muskies from Green Bay Wisconsin come down. Week started off slow, but picked up very quickly, but then mother nature turned her ugly head my way on Sunday...God I hate rain! Water Temps: Upper 50's for the most part Weeds: Almost out of control, but PERFECT in many many spots. Shad: WAY OUT OF CONTROL, huge schools everywhere!!!! 17 fish boated this week. Still nothing huge, but 4 over 40 and most of the others in the 37-39 inch range. I wonder just how many bulldawgs I can ruin in one week.....LOL Went through 4 last week, and another 4 this week. Glad I started the year off with 93 Bulldawgs!!! Now it is time to try and piece back some of the ones that got WACKED!

Location: Athens, Ohio | aGreat weekend at Cave Run and Mountain Muskie Lodge with the folks from Muskies 101.com. Esox Addict and MuskieBoy survived the Gambler ride, MB got a mid -30's fish on the hook and up to the boat, EA got a large fish up to the boat following a bucktail and we saw some big fish cleanin up after the carp spawn - no takers, though. A wonderful time with Tony, Charlie, Karen, and Scott at the lodge and water conditions were clear and warm. m Edited by mikie 5/1/2006 8:36 AM

| Had a successful weekend w/ 11 skis (30, 30, 34, 32, 36, 36, 40, 40, 42, 45+, 45+) to the boat Sat on Webster and 4 on the line on Sun w/ 2 to the boat on Tippy/James. Largest boated was a chunky 42 w/ two mid to upper 40's lost @ boatside by my "clients" after handing them the rod Sat. The best part of the weekend was our guide for a day volunteer event where I handed the rod to my twelve year old client Lindsay, a very enthusiastic gal, four times w/ her boating a 30, 36, 40, & 42 on her very first muskie outing! She even won the guide for a day big fish honors a received her very own muskie rod. Her Dad got the other rod as well. Her new name is Lucky Lindsay! Fun! | |||

Posts: 572 Location: Williamstown, WV | Went fishing on Monday here in a local creek. Raised one about 30 inches and fished for a good 9 hours. It seems I need to move to Indiana and fish Webster. That 6 fish an acre must be great. You guys are very lucky to have that fishery. I've never seen numbers of fish like that out of a lake. Those numbers are incredible. I mean I got beat by a 12 year old girl. I'm just jealous... Shawn Edited by WV Musky 5/2/2006 6:33 AM

Posts: 1310 Location: Washington, PA | Shawn, Don't feel bad, we had the option of Webster, or going to the Buckhannon and Tygart rivers, we chose the rivers, (I did), moved 4, all in the 30 to mid 30 inch range.

| Dad took the pics on a Kodak disposable but I will get ahold of them ASAP. Don't feel bad Shawn your friendly guide hooked all four of them and handed over the rod to her. She fought them well though! | |||
