I do it the same as I would any other bait. I know some other people who also do the same. They also do the same with Topwater baits too, pulling them under the surface. Personally I have only caught one fish figure eighting a glider, and it bit when I slowed the bait high in the turn.(I pull it lower in the middle, if that makes sense). Good luck.

I don't '8' a glider much. I do a weird deal at boatside, twitching the glider downward until it stops sometimes 6' down, and then popping it back up and repeating until I run out of line. It REALLY works well witha Perka or a Wabull.

Spence Petros demonstarted a "box" turn instead of an "8" at the musky show last year. With some baits it works really well.Try it and see how your baits respond.

i saw my brother do this and have since attempted to do so. when making the 8, make Z's in the water with the tip of your rod. it makes the bait go side to side. doesnt seem to frighten fish. or just do a normal 8 as u would with a crank/bucktail etc.
