I've been getting several requests for RED in one form or another.
Red with a silver scale stripe.
Red with black on the top 3rd with gold scales.
Red with black tiger stripes and a Chart belly.
Kandy Red with the special effect with white scales half way up from a white belly.
Sucker with a red stripe for a lateral line over the gold scales.
Is there that much of an interest in red?
How many of you guys have red in your arsenal?
Is it worth making at least 5 of each?
I have all day tomorrow to paint.
Maybe I should go back to painting Daredevils

I love Red baits.

If more people would try them I think it would be a very popular color.

Pritty, nice looking, cute, baits sell to fishermen. Most will catch some fish, but mostly fishermen who like the looks of the baits.

Red is one of those "other" colors. I know of some great baits that come in Red and they are some of my best baits.

Beaver, I am very interested in these colors.

Some of my biggest fish came on Red baits in the last 3 years (53-incher and 50 1/2-incher) both client fish. I wish more bait companys would offer RED.

Get to work Beav, I am sure we can find a home for those "other color baits".

How about Red with gold scale.
Dark red and bright red baits. Dark for at dusk or dawn and bright for the sunny days.

Also if you could add a small gold dot on top of the head so the fishermen and see the darker baits comming in easer.

I have 5 different shades of red, and we'll be throwing them together sometime very soon.
I think it's going to be a Red Weekend.
The Red Kandys look like Jolly Rancher candy. Very cool.
Maybe I'll forget a few in your boat.

Hey Beav,
I like red too, but like it layered with orange, just by mixing the red you are using wih some yellow until you get the orange you like.

I love red too. I have a red Timberwolf that I can't wait to try. I'd be interested in a perkette w/ a black back, red sides, and white belly. Maybe some small black dots on the red w/ silver glitter. Remember the red crappie phantom I sent you a year ago?
