Some of my wooden baits are kind of banged up (rocks and teeth) what type of clear coat is best to put on them to stop them from absorbing water?

When I coated my own baits I used Envirotex or a 20-minute-working-time Epoxy. Both were tricky to use, but not overly so.

if you're going to use epoxy, you need to come up with a way to spin them slowly so it evens out the coat. Or else it will pool in the lowest areas. I think Envirotex comes in a spray can which will work for a few utings. If you want to completely reseal it, might want to think about having on of the basement guys totally redo it for ya.
