Posts: 1086 | No. Not yet. But I'm wanting to do this very same thing. I'm going to look into this this summer. I'm looking for any info as well.

Posts: 107 Location: milwaukee | Also have this project on my radar screen. I like to go to Champion Trailer Supply for my info: http://www.championtrailers.com/TURBOLUBEOILFILLEDHUBS.htm It looks like a pretty simple conversion, so long as you can identify your current bearings and seal diameter.

Posts: 326 Location: Plainfield IL | Bill- You will find many past threads regarding this topic. I installed the liqua lube system on my prior boat and couldnt have been happier. http://www.liqualube.com/ UFP (Unique functional Products, Buddy Bearing, Couplers etc...) has a Trailer Buddy Gold Oil Bath too. http://www.ufpnet.com/ Your bearing will last longer, less mess, ease of use. The list of benefits goes on and on. Just wondering when all trailer mfg's will do the right thing and just include this as a standard. R_H

Biodegradable lubricant that absorbs water and makes more lubricant, and a diaphram that adjusts pressure in the hub to keep vacuum down to near zero. No temperature shock vacuum, no water past the seal. Very good product. Call Dee at KDEE Supply in Lake Mills, WI. Here's the link: http://www.liqualube.com/

Posts: 1335 Location: Chicago, Beverly | I have a question... I have never had seals on a boat trailer not leak.. With grease not everything is gonna end up on my rims, but what about these? Or would the problem of leaky seals be sovled by making this switch? I am pretty sure I know what causes my leaking seals.. I think I overfill with grease...

Posts: 2091 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Liqualube is a great product, I've been running them for about four years now and am very pleased. I don't think there is a regular hub that won't let water in at some point.
