| I fished this lake for the first time this past year, was out there 3 times and landed two small fish. I took both fish on the deep weed edges off of Cecil Point which is the skinny peninsula on the southeast shore of the lake. It is a pretty tough lake to fish, very large shallow sand flats but has excellent weed areas too. I talked to a couple of other guys there and they said that over the last few years they have seen more fish caught. They said they had quite a few multi fish days with the biggest fish they caught being a 44" one. I plan on hitting the lake quite a few times this next year due to my fiance's parents live pretty close to there. If you need a topo of the lake I can e-mail you one. I never have a partner over there to fish that or the Cloverleaf Chain, drop me some mail if anyone is interested.

| MuskieMedic,
I'm going to target Shawano Lake this year too. Cloverleaf just doesn't cut it anymore for a weekday fix. I often need a partner as well.... espicially for these lakes. I'm hoping to make Tuesday night my "muskie" night... so drop me a line if you want to hook up.
I believe Shawano is in the early stages of developing a healthy musky population.... but it can't hurt to get out there and start learning it now... so when she does hit her prime, we can cash in on the rewards!
