I was at the Expo both Friday and Saturday full time. It was nice (in some cases and scary in others) to be able to put faces with names from the postings. There was plenty of activity both days and all sots of good stuff to buy.
What did you end up taking home that you absolutely "had to have"?
Also, just an observation, is it just me or does everyone become so much better at catching muskies while standing in an aisle at a Muskie Show in the winter than they are standing in a boat actually fishing for muskies?! LOL!

Steve-
I don't know about anyone else, but I suck at catching muskies both places. Hell, I'll still never give up though.

What did I have to have?? Lets see, I ended up with 3 bootails, and 4 ToddM tails. I also got a M1st shirt and I ended up with 3 Slammers. I don't know if I actually needed the Slammers but the salesmen there were top notch. I think I have an IOU coming from someone at that booth too. Like an elephant, I never forget.

Had a blast meeting and talking with you all.

Scott

Steve, you were the only one to get me to bits saturday and yes I am an awesome bench fisherman.

My purchase were:
2 slammer deep divers(custom way awesome colors)
1 slammer mystery bait(sorry Mr. Dorazio, sir)

Would have bought a perch colored power probe but they were out.

The best stuff that I got didn't come from any booth other than muskieFIRST.
Spending time with Steve Cady, Jason, Zach, Sworrall, Chris, and meeting about 20 of you other guys was more valuable than any baits that I bought.
I came home with a better feeling about the kind of guys that I've been conversing with for all these months.
Even the one guy who said that he was very less impressive in person. [;)]
Now I'm even more pumped up about the Cave Run trip and the upcoming year on the water. The calibre of guys that call this site home made me happy and proud to be assiociated with this site.
It was great meeting all of you.
Cady, looking forward to boat time.
Sworrall...looking forward to boat time and boat[;)] ,even though it might not be in my driveway til next year.
Tony, see you in 38 days.
Looking forward to meeting more of you.
Beav

I forgot to mention that I brought a Tuffy Catalog from the newest Tuffy dealer in SE Wis., Competition Sports And Marine, home from the show. My better half made a declarative comment when she saw the Catalog on the counter, "NO!!!, Noway, Don't even think about it! NO!!!"
The story continues.............

Got the deep slammer I was looking for, even had to go back later and get a shallow one. Pretty slippery salesman, j/k, baits look awesome, can't wait to get them wet. As far as other stuff, lets just say that all i was going to get were slammers, but ending up visiting the ATM an extra time. My god I hope to start fishing soon so I am too busy to but fishin stuff !![]
