Back it out a turn or 2 and use a small pair of side cutters to "snip" the eye open. Then just pry on it a little bit with the cutters to open the eye far enough to get the hook out. Crimp it back together with pliers. You can only do this a few times before you will have to replace the eye. When you do get some 2 ton epoxy and push it into the hole with a toothpick.
