The high speed on one of your 6-10's for sure. A high speed reel is needed to pick up slack fast on a jerk rod.

1. St Croix PMH 6'10" H 6500 c3
2. Fig Rig Tooth Tamer 6'10" H 7000 big game for cranking mag bulldogs
3. Fig Rig Tooth Tamer 7'6" MH cartiff just because
4. Fig Rig Tooth Tamer 7'6" MH Millionaire cause it is more of a bucktail reel
5. Fig Rig Tooth Tamer 8'0" MH 6500 high speed for ripping those longer casts in

another approach
What is your favorite reel? Put that on the rod your longest rod because you will probably use that the most.
The big game should go on your heaviest rig (St. criox or 6'10" fig). The big handle will help ripping big lures
Then go by which reel you like the best and match it with the longest rod left.

You're going to find the power handle on your 7000 will slip if you try and rip baits. You will be pissed I assure you.

Reason I said put the 7000 on a 7'6" Fig is, if it were me, you'd use it for burning bucktails, medium sized cranks, and most especially spinnerbaits. Can also get away with topwater.

I also agree with the comment on putting your favorite reel (or most expensive) on your longest rod.

Right now I'm using the 8 footer as a bucktail rod, and I probably throw bucktails less than everything else, so putting the best reel on the bucktail rod might not be a good idea.

The high speed reel definitely should be on one of the 2 jerkbait rods.

You're saying the 7000 is NOT the best for big baits?

Favorite reel is the Millionaire without a doubt, so that has to go on one of the 7'6's, since that's what I'll probably use the most.

See how this gets confusing?

In my opinion, though I don't own a 7000HSN due to mixed reports, my 7000C3 and 7000CL slip back a little if I do any twitching, pulling, etc. Gonna be casting 10" Slammers or straight reeling a Mag. Dawg? You'll love the 7000. Any gliders, walk the dog topwaters, violent ripping Jakes, 'Dawgs, etc. and the handle will slip ever so slightly (not spin backwards out of control, but slip back maybe 1/2"), but enough to be a pain and basically negate or lessen the degree to which you work your baits.

Thanks Esox 50...

I keep a dawg rigged up at all times, so maybe the bulldawg rod will be the 7000/7'6" combo.

The 8 footer with the Cardiff is a good bucktail setup, because it's 5.8:1, a little faster than the C3 and the Millionaire, plus its got a smaller spool, and you just can't throw a bucktail as far as you can throw hard baits.

The C4 goes on one of the 6'10 H rods for working suicks and other jerkbaits

That leaves three

C3
Millionaire
7000

and three rods

7'6MH
7'6MH
6'10"H

If I put the Millionaire on one of the 7'6" rods as my main all-around stick...

That leaves

7'6" MH
6'10 H

7000 HSN
6500 C3

Now what?

"7'6" MH
6'10 H

7000 HSN
6500 C3

Now what?"

6500C3 on the 6'10" as a jerkbait (pullbaits probably over glider), heavy cranks, topwater, suckers(?).
7000HSN on 7'6" MH for spinnerbaits, cranks, and topwater.

Tough decision what to do with that 6500C3. Slower gear ratio sort of limits what you can do with jerkbaits, and the short rod isn't as conducive for topwater. I'd say that set up (C3 and 6'10") would be perfect for bigger cranks and the like.

Man this thread just won't die...

Hey CVZ300A:

Your anti-reverse slips and the reel handle turns backwards... Figures you wouldn't have much to say since you only worked for half a season

Most expensive reel = shortest life expectancy
