| 1 of my two deep cycle batteries isn't holding a charge. I've check the water levels and they are fine. I'm guessing 1 or more cells have gone bad.
Do I have to replace both batteries or just match the new battery with the 1 "good" battery?

Location: Algonquin, ILL | It has been my experience that much like light bulbs when one goes out the rest will soon follow, I would say replace them both then you should be able to fish Battery worry free

| Replace both as the weakest battery will draw from the other untill they are equal and shorten the life of the new battery. |

| Thanks for the replies guys. Not the answer I was hoping for. I guess I'll have to shell out the extra $'s. Seems a shame to turn in a good battery. |

Location: Tinley Park. Fish Cen IL. Bass & Vilas Cty.Muskie | I like to put the date I buy my replacements on the label on the top of the battery in marker. This way I always know how old it is. |
