I just picked up a 1750 Crestliner Fish Hawk with a 125 Mercury 2 stroke.

Just wondering much speed others are are getting with simaliar rigs.

Please include any proping stats, thanks!

I run my 1850 (I know, not a 1750 like you are talking about) with 135 Opti and added weight of a 9.9 4-stroke about 45 mph tops. I'd imagine you'd run yours around 40 give or take with/without an SS prop.

My 'lil 1750 Crestliner with only a mere 90 hp 2-stroke Johnson with a normal, el cheapo prop (not S.S.) will do about 36-38mph with gear and two guys. Definitely not the fastest boat on the water.

I want a 4-stroke in the range of a 115-150 so bad for my boat. Would need to rob a bank to pay for it though!

With that setup with 21" alum prop should be around 44-45 mph. With a 19" Trophy I have seen them hit 48 mph gps.

Put the 21 pitch SS on that engine and you will do in the MID 40's no problem. My buddy has the 1850 with the 125, 21 pitch SS also has the kicker on and he does 46-48.

Letter rip.
