MUSKY STOCKING INFORMATION MEETING

*This is your chance to hear BOTH sides of the controversial musky stocking issue.

*The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will present their side. The opposing viewpoint from the "Committee to Return Musky Magic to Sawyer County" will be presented by the Wisconsin Muskellunge Restoration Project Team.

*This is your chance to get answers as both sides will field questions from the floor.

*This is a subject of vital interest to Hayward and surrounding areas. WE STRONGLY URGE local business leaders to attend. It is of PARTICULAR INTEREST to local musky guides, motels, restaurants, bars, tackle and bait shops and other related businesses. We are LOSING business at an ALARMING rate to Ontario and Minnesota PLUS we are losing a valuable fishery!!

*The proud history and heritage of HAYWARD as the Home of World Record Muskys is at stake!!!

*This meeting is open to ALL who are interested.

It was mentioned on another site, that this may be something that would be good to record or video.

Would it be possible for muskiefirst to send a rep and videotape this meeting for those who wont be able to attend. It might be pretty interesting.

I wouldn't have it any other way. It is a public and open meeting - believe me, I wish every meeting in the past was public & open. I'd like to work with you on getting the information (all information) to the folks that visit your site. If you are not going to be there,make it clear soon as I'll need to look for another source.

We'll be there. I'll videotape the meeting start to finish, and prepare a MuskieFIRST Radio broadcast for the next day. We will review the tape to see if it makes sense to offer the video, in most cases events like this are well represented by a Radio broadcast. It will also be podcast.

The meeting is being hosted by the Hayward Lakes Visitor's and Convention Bureau. They will also be doing the moderating.
