I always here about using rattle traps for musky, especially for southern musky. My question is, what rod should one use when rattle trap fishing for musky? I've heard most people use lighter action, bass type rods. What company makes the best rod for this application?

I like my St Criox PM610MF 6'10" 1/2 to 2oz rod. You can cast light baits well with it and it has plenty in the butt for sticking the fish.
